Lesson Six: Searching Databases for Evidence
ACTIVITY
|
- Visit with your institution’s librarian.
- Find out what databases your institution subscribes to. For example, visit the National Guidelines Clearinghouse (http: //www. guideline.gov) and see if they contain any information relevant to your population group, clinical problems that you work with or interventions you use frequently.
Start your search in an appropriate database.
